We've been staying home like most of us - here in Oregon it's by order of the governor. My son has had to close his restaurant and one of his beer stores and my daughter-in-lay was furloughed from her work. The grandkids are home from school until the new school year starts. My husband teaches at a private school and they started their classes online last month so he's busy with that. The school moved our international boarders back to the dorm so that they could be isolated until it's safe for them to travel back to their countries - in our case we had two boys from the UK and it looks like it will be a while before they can return. I would say that we haven't been too effected by COVID-19 but that wouldn't be true - personally I feel calm but it's still feeling a bit surreal.
This past weekend I finally got my supplies back out and started making cards again for the express purpose of sending out personal notes to all of the people we love to let them know we're thinking of them. I made 20 of the following cards, using different accent colors and dies but with the same basic layout, following the current challenge at Just Us Girls - "Square". I will need more than 20 so I will probably choose another challenge for the additional cards.
I did a bit of experimenting with various taupe & white patterned prints and changed off the dies on the cards. I'm not sure which I prefer.
