Christmas Cards

In Chronological Order...

  2007

This is the very beginning of my card making adventures! It's a postcard combining fancy papers, computer-generated message and silver-embossed stamp, die-cut with punches. At this point my supplies were very limited.

I started sending Christmas cards to my design clients in 2009.

Design client card with instant coffee packets in the pocket.

In the beginning of my card making the emphasis was more on interesting papers I found, with a single stamp and computer-generated messages.

Printed papers, border and snowflake dies, and a single stamp inside. This must have been the year I got a Sizzix "Big Shot" from my wonderful husband for my birthday!

This Christmas season I found some beautiful coordinating papers by Anna Griffin and I bought enough to use for both family and friends and design clients, short-cutting the process a bit.

Postcard for clients with coordinating custom envelope. The ornaments were all fussy-cut and layered and the snowflakes die-cut.

A year is missing here - I think it might have been due to a computer crash that lost a lot of my photo files. This is also the year I had some new PTI dies that I was very fascinated with - especially the snowflakes!

Design clients - experimenting with a tri-fold card and ribbons passing through the center of each page.

I have a large group of E-friends on a social forum that I have participated with for a number of years. I often send Christmas cards to all of these friends.

Family and friends - a difficult card to photograph as it is all metallic.

2022

2022 was a year in which I had many Christmas cards that I had created over the year and entered in various challenges. Rather than make one design multiple times, I sent out one-of-a-kind cards to all family and friends. Here are a few examples:
