Wedding invitations for husband's nephew. Their colors were blush, navy, and copper. The invitations were printed on blush textured stock using my computer, then the hanging branches were added in lighter blue and copper embossing. Tags were printed with blue computer type and copper embossing, with leaves die-cut from medium blue card stock, printed in copper, tied around the cover envelope with blush satin ribbon and applied copper-colored gem stone. The outer envelopes were lined with copper rose wrapping paper and printed on the flap with copper embossing.

Wedding card for Oriental-themed wedding
I often make my own envelopes. this one is made from a double-sided black and white card stock with flocked damask pattern on the front, printed inside. The embellishment on the card is something I found in the art store and the edge was die-cut with a large tag die and then embossed with dots.
Pattern Stamp: PTI "Stitches & Swirls"
Die and sentiment both old things from my stash
Inks: Versamark and Stampendous PEARLustre "Peridot" embossing powder
Paper: Pearlescent linen texture - Papers and More
No stamps - just fancy papers. Custom outer envelope is lined with metallic gold vellum, as is the inner wrap.

Thanksgiving
Beginning in 2010 I started sending Thanksgiving cards to my design clients as a special thanks for their patronage over the year. This card was made with dark brown petal pockets and copper metallic papers and envelopes left over from the invitations I made for my son's wedding the previous year. The envelope wrap and card interior is a combination of stamping/embossing and computer-generated message.
